ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is a 2 day face-to-face workshop that provides participants with practical skills and knowledge to effectively recognise those who may be at risk of suicide and conduct a suicide intervention.

ASIST Training is delivered by two trainers, Mark Hughes from Mind Your Head & Laura Russell from NHS Shetland.

Courses are scheduled across the year and are for everyone in the community whether they have an interest as part of their professional role or a personal interest. Each course has a minumum attendance of 8 participants and a maximum attendance of 24 participants.
