All of us need a bit of help at some point. Your monthly donation of £5 means we can be there for those who need our help.
When the Wellness Programme was launched in 2017, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. Since then, it's been a rollercoaster ride and we've been able to meet and help out so many wonderful people along the way.
This time though, it's our turn to ask for your help. We've not always been the best at asking, but we're practising what we preach and getting the word out!
We are very grateful for the support that we've received from The National Lottery and Shetland Charitable Trust. These funds will make sure that we can continue supporting and connecting you through the Wellness Programme and Wellness Activity Programme. However, there is a *lot* of work that goes on behind the scenes. This is why we're calling in the cavalry. That's you!
We are a bit nervous but very excited to launch our monthly gifting campaign, 5-for-your-mind.
What is it?
5 for Your Mind is a quick, simple and easy way for you to make a monthly donation directly to Mind Your Head. The payment will be processed via PayPal and is a monthly recurring amount. For £5/month, you are helping to make sure that positive mental health and wellbeing are being promoted throughout Shetland, and that no one has to face mental health problems on their own. That's a lot for a fiver.
Can I pay less/more than a fiver?
Absolutely! It's entirely up to you to say how much you would like to gift. (See photo below)
How do I sign up?
1. Click/tap on the blue "Donate" button on the upper right hand side of your screen. If you can't find it, click here to be redirected to our homepage.
2. Set the amount (GBP) that you'd like to donate, then tick "Make this a monthly donation." You can pay monthly via PayPal or your card.
That's it! We weren't kidding when we said it was quick, simple and easy. Once you've completed the two steps above, you should be signed up and set up for our monthly gifting campaign. Don't forget to check your email for a confirmation message.
What else can I do to help?
We're delighted that you've asked! We always try to put as much fun as we can in FUNdraising so we're asking you to #1) share 5 things/activities that you know are good for your own mental health, #2) donate to PayPal through the above chart, then #3) challenge 5 other people to do the same.
Let's be honest, nowadays the best way to spread the word would through social media. Give us a shout on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and share our regular updates on your timeline. For more information on how you can get involved with Mind Your Head, click here.
