Anita Georgeson has raised an amazing amount on behalf of Mind Your Head.
Anita climbed Kilimanjaro in September finishing her epic climb on the 29th September. Throughout the year Anita has held many fundraising events including bag packing, discos and raffles. The grand total raised was £17,099.42!
Anita said “ I’ve been overwhelmed with the support from everyone and it’s given me something in return. It just shows you how something so negative can turn into something so very positive. Thank you all again.”
Anouska Civico Service Manager said “I am totally overwhelmed by the support Anita has been given and the amount of money raised. When she said that she wanted to raise £10,000 I thought she was determined but boy she really was!!! This amount of money is going to make a massive difference and will benefit others who have or are having difficulties.”
Plans for the money will be announced at a later date.
