Supporting young people in Shetland to look after their mental health and wellbeing

If you are a young person and are worried about your own mental health or the mental health of someone you know, here's how we can help.

We offer the following services for free:

  • One-to-one support sesions for those aged 10-25 years

Well Youth: Support for myself

Are you struggling with your mental health? Going through a particularly tough time? Not been feeling like your usual self? The Well Youth support service is a safe space to talk about anything that might be bothering you.

When you sign up to Well Youth, you can:

  • Have one-to-one support sessions anywhere you feel comfortable (throughout Shetland)
  • Work with your own Wellness Practitioner to create a personalised plan to help meet your needs
  • Receive practical support towards whatever it is you are struggling with (for example - using public transport, getting out of the house, attending appointments, making phone calls, finding new hobbies, practicing self-love, building self-confidence)

If you would like to sign up to Well Youth's one-to-one support sessions, please leave a message on our contact form. You can also send us an email on [email protected] or phone 01595 745035.
