A strong man in more ways than one

This well known face is about to become recognised for a very different reason – as a positive role model for Mind Your Head.

In 2009 Stuart started experiencing anxiety attacks which lead to a bout of depression. Stuart has decided to share his story to help tackle the stigma associated with mental ill helath and to try and get men to talk about how they are feeling.

Recently Mind Your Head launched the 'Grubby Hut Initiative' where we go into male dominated workplaces to talk about mental health with the guys over their lunchbreak. It can take a while to get the guys to talk but overtime they do. We hope that Stuart's story gets people to talk more openly about how they are feeling and to realise it is okay to ask for help.
