This years' theme for World Mental Health Day on 10 October is 'Working Together for Mental Health'.
Millions of people across the globe celebrate World Mental Health Day each year, raising awareness and much needed funds for mental health causes.
Every year the Mental Health Foundation marks the event by raising awareness of mental health issues that matter.
Everyone knows that sharing your cares and hopes with someone can be great for your own mental health and wellbeing. That's why this year, they'd love you to take part in 'Tea and Talk'
All you have to do is get together with a group of friends or colleagues, put the kettle on, and invite them to make a donation to the Mental Health Foundation- its as simple as that. MHF suggest you ask for a donation of £2-£5 per person but the more you offer at your 'Tea & Talk' Party the more you can raise!
What difference could you make? ......
£50 enables MHF to give 24 free online help to over 7000 people who need support.
£100 enables them to provide a researcher for 1 day to help them find more solutions to support people experiencing mental health distress.
£150 enables MHF to put information to help people in distress in to 300 GP surgeries reaching over 3000 people.
