Don’t Bottle It Up Campaign- Ashley

Today sees the launch of Ashley who represents Stress

As part of mental health awareness week, student Imogen Leslie is designing a poster campaign targeting young people.  Ashley is the third charcter of 4 being launched this week.

When designing this character Imogen said:  "I wanted to make Ashley as if she’d been worn out, didn’t care about her appearance anymore. It is like she has lost all self worth and was too worked up to do anything or care."

Anouska Civico –Project manager of Mind Your Head says:  "It has been a real privilege to work with Imogen on this campaign and I am so proud of what she has achieved and that she was willing to share it with others. These posters will help other people to identify their own thoughts and feelings and realise that these are normal and that they are not alone in their struggles. Talking to others seems to be a key factor in helping people manage their own mental health and that’s exactly what this campaign is encouraging.”
