AGM

Mind Your Head held their annual general meeting last week and the management committee were delighted to welcome new members.  The management committee are now 13 strong and this is felt as being really important during the next year in particular.  To view the members of the management committee click here.

Shona Manson, Chair of Mind Your Head said, "This is the 10th anniversary year of our charity and we are entering a really important stage of our development as we focus our efforts on developing and launching a new support service for mental health in Shetland."

The charity presented their annual report and financial statements for the previous year at the meeting.  It was noted by the board that the Shetland community had again been incredibly supportive to the charity with donations of over £22,500 received in 2013/14.  Shona Manson said "Our grateful thanks to the Shetland Community for their ongoing support.  Every single penny donated goes directly into promoting mental health positively in Shetland and in helping us develop and launch our new support service."

The annual report can be viewed here and the audited accounts will be posted on the website within the next fortnight.

If you would like to support the charity in launching a new support service text MYHS10 £2 / £5 / £10 to 70070 (e.g. MYHS10 £5) or click here to donate through the fundraising page.
