Mind Your Head Self Help Facilitator
In partnership with NHS Shetland, funding from NHS Education Scotland (NES) was secured to employ a full time self help facilitator post to identify and compile self help materials for people suffering from mild to moderate mental health problems. In December 2009 Jill Hood was recruited to this post on a temporary 2 year contract. The funding from NES and Mind Your Head has now come to an end and Jill will continue working in the Self Help Facilitator role for NHS Shetland. In addition to this Jill will remain as an advisor to the Mind Your Head committee. Jill is based within the Mental Health Department, Lerwick Health Centre.
